PRESENTATION

The stone of the Cardoso that is in the heart of the Apuan Alps, it is a

metamorphic sandstone with a characteristic dark ash color, with white veins,

very appreciated for its characteristics that allow its use in many fields of

construction and make it the ideal material for the realization of many works.

It adapts to any style in the design, both for external and internal environments.

For internal works, today it is frequently used for the construction of stairs,

fireplaces, hobs and plinth ; while for exteriors it is mainly used for the paving

of courtyards and avenues, for coatings and plinths, for edging fountains and

swimming pools.

The elegance of the Cardoso stone is a source of inspiration for architecture

studies in the realization of classical and modern works.
